Welcome to the Nordic Conference on Forensic Medicine 2026
Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee, it is our great pleasure to invite you to the Nordic Conference on Forensic Medicine 2026, which will take place June 23-26, 2026, at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
This will be the 23rd Nordic Conference on Forensic Medicine, following in the footsteps of the highly successful Conference in Tromsø, Norway in 2024. As such, the Nordic Conferences rotate between the Nordic countries, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and between the forensic departments of those countries.
This conference brings together forensic experts, researchers and professionals from across the Nordic region and beyond to discuss the latest advancements, challenges, and innovations in forensic medicine, including the growing role of artificial intelligence in forensic analysis and investigations.
The University of Copenhagen offers a unique setting for this gathering, combining history, modern facilities and a vibrant scientific community. The conference venue, at the University’s modern section at Amager, Copenhagen will provide an excellent environment for engaging scientific sessions, knowledge sharing and workshops.
The major themes and a detailed scientific and social program will be announced in due time, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all participants.
Stay tuned for upcoming announcements regarding:
